to live and discover
Franciacorta is a millenary land, fascinating and rich in history, which extends over 19 villages in the province of Brescia, in the heart of Lombardy. Its suggestive name, which probably dates back to medieval times, comes from the francae curtes: areas where the Cluniac monks benefited tax exemptions, contributing to the prosperity of this region.

The area is characterized by rolling hills, flourishing vineyards and vegetation. This natural setting is made even more precious by a mild climate which has made Franciacorta ideal for the cultivation of vines since ancient times. Its winemaking roots are confirmed by Latin classics such as Pliny the Elder, Columella and Virgil, who already celebrated its agricultural riches.
